Extending a Hand to Those in Need

Southeast Testament, Inc
                    A Word Of Thanks
I would like to express my appreciation for everyone's support of the Southeast Testament (SET) mission.  Your continued support in 2008 is critical for us to serve those affected by poverty and disasters in central and southeast Ohio. Over $63,000 was donated in 2007 which truly is a blessing from God. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Our primary role is to provide the facilities, logistics and leadership needed to make an impact in the lives of individuals and families.  SET partners with residents who are in need as well as with other non-profits which do not have much needed material and resources to make an ongoing impact.  One of SET's missions is bringing organizations together to achieve common goals and to make a positive influence in the lives of others.

The Vinton County building shell is complete and the interior build-out will occur in early 2008.  Furniture, clothing, household items and appliance distribution is scheduled to begin in May with Lutheran Social Services' offices opening in August. We will need to raise $25,000 to be able to pursue the next phase.  Good seed has been planted in SE Ohio and the fruit is coming in 2008 thanks to your support and hard work.

God's peace;

Joe Schmitt
